In partnership with Clear Pharmacy, we met the lovely local people of Mount Merrion to run a food-saving session focusing on health and wellbeing. The event was a big hit with everyone, helping residents to make the most of every mouthful.
If you want another idea for using up leftover cream, this one's quick and simple. If you don't have quite enough cream, then crème fraiche or whole milk can be used to top up to what you need.
Italian-style breadcrumbs, flavoured with herbs, garlic and lemon zest. Use generously to add a dash of texture and a pop of flavour to anything from pasta, soups, risotto and salads. Just sprinkle a good helping on top. I made this using the end slices of a brown bread loaf.
