Resources for schools
We are on a mission to halve food waste by 2030
This year we are encouraging everyone to ‘Choose What You’ll Use’, highlighting the benefits of buying loose fruit and vegetables and inspiring people to do this wherever they can. We are working with primary schools across the UK, providing free lesson plans and worksheets to teachers and pupils.
We could save 60,000 tonnes of food waste by enabling people to buy closer to their needs.
Schools' pack
This year, we are keen to reach teachers, students, and families across the UK. That’s why we have designed the Choose What You’ll Use resources: a schools’ pack developed by educational specialists for 7–11-year-olds empowering them to explore food waste and the benefits of loose fruit and vegetables. Teachers can deliver this as a lesson, or parts of it as a whole-school assembly.
