There’s something nice about a new kind of Christmas celebration, a time to start new traditions and make memories with those closest to you! There’s also the freedom to have a bit of fun with it - no need to conform to the classic Christmas activities or festive fayre.

Mix it up

If you’re tired of turkey, then why not try something else this year? Mad about seafood? Monkfish makes for a seriously special dinner. And let us not overlook the mouthwateringly photogenic Beef Wellington

Try a takeaway

You also don’t have to cook at all, why not get your favourite takeaway instead? No washing up loads of pots and pans, no slaving all day in the kitchen, no extra food going to waste! It’s also nice to support local businesses over the festive season!

Restaurant quality, at home

If you’re keen to cook but aren’t too confident in the kitchen, lots of local restaurants are offering a ‘Cook at Home Christmas Dining Experience’ with everything you need to have a restaurant quality meal, in the comfort of your own home. Check out our brand ambassador Gary Maclean’s Festive Cookalong box here.

Could one of your Christmas Firsts be second hand?

Our good friends at Revolve are joining us this year. So, if unique, vintage, or simply sustainable gifts and homeware appeal to you, look out for their posts or find them on:
